Hay Bales brings a field, farm and sun environment into your scene as both backdrop and IBL source. Captured at full dynamic range, the panorama avoids the chromatic clipping that breaks shaders.
Specs: equirectangular panorama at 2K, EXR, HDR and JPG. The capture process retains highlight information that single-exposure photography would lose.
Use cases include studio product shots, ArchViz interiors and exteriors, motion graphics, VFX backplates, and game lighting baking. Hay Bales performs the same role across all of them: a believable light source.
Tested in Maya, Cinema 4D, Blender, Unreal Engine and Houdini. The HDRI behaves identically across Cycles, Eevee, Unreal Lumen, Unity HDRP, Octane, Redshift, V-Ray, Corona, Arnold, and Marmoset Toolbag.
